atom is in an excited state? When is light emitted
from those atoms? What causes Lithium to give
off a magenta colored flame? Nowhere on the EM

1.  A ball has a volume of 3 cm.  It’s mass is 108 grams.  Does it float or sink?
2.  What is the mass of an object whose density is 2.5 and has a volume of 6 mL?
3.  A can of corn sinks.  It’s mass is 382 grams.  Tell me about it’s volume.
Objectives: Predict floating/sinking based on density.
